Pacific Trustees Singapore, Everest Gold and international vault chain, Malca-Amit are to enter a tripartite supervision arrangement to jointly supervise investors’ gold. Neither party can exercise rights over gold to assure investment safety.

 

In the unlikely event that Everest Gold were to go out of business, you will receive your physical gold asset in equivalent weight.

When you purchase gold on the platform, ownership of the gold is transferred to you under the care of gold custodian, Pacific Trustees Singapore. Everest Gold has no authority over customer’s gold assets. 

Being in the precious metals industry in Singapore, Everest Gold is required to comply with the Precious Stones and Precious Metals (Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing) Act 2019.

Personal information is required for our customers to proceed with fund management features such as deposit, trade and withdrawals for reasons specified below: To detect and prevent fraud in financial transactions and to keep your account safe.

To execute transfer of asset ownership upon each transaction. To verify user identity during gold collection to prevent impersonation. Your information is always kept confidential and is only used for compliance purposes.

For Singaporeans, government issued photo identification such as identification card, passport or a driver’s license can be used for account verification.  

For users outside of Singapore, a government issued passport is required to verify your identity. Everest Gold accounts are verified in accordance with our internal anti-money laundering policy.

In most cases, you can create an Everest Gold account if you live outside of Singapore. However, Everest Gold is currently not available in China, Iran and countries in the Africa continent.

All users must be at least 18 years old.

There are no transaction fees and no limit to the number of transactions you can make.

Yes, you can download the mobile app free of charge. The app is available for download in the App Store and Google Play Store.

Everest Gold units (EGU) are digital gold backed on a 1:1 basis by physical gold. Physical gold is digitally fractionated, lowering the entry threshold for gold investment to as low as 0.01g, and introduced onto the trading platform as EGU (Everest Gold units) for trading.

1 EGU = 0.01g of gold.

During the Gold Subscription Event, gold price on the Everest Gold trading platform is benchmarked against international spot gold price, approximately 3% cheaper than the gold sold by banks.

Banks and gold dealers, the only channels for regular investors to trade gold, may incur additional costs such as handling, valuation and testing fees. The contrast between the buying and selling price of gold at banks greatly reduces the actual profit and returns of your investment.

All asset holdings on Everest Gold are 100% backed by physical gold. Gold is stored in Malca-Amit, a world-class secure vault facility in Singapore. Our gold is audited by a third-party accounting firm no less than 9 times yearly.

Gold Subscription Event is a direct, limited-time sale of Everest Gold units (EGU). A limited supply of EGU is offered at attractive prices benchmarked against international gold price, approximately 3% lower than prices banks offer. Each subscription event is conducted on the platform and lasts for 48 hours.

There are 3 steps to the Gold Subscription process.

  1. Subscribe by entering EGU purchase quantity. All funds used for subscription are frozen until allocation is completed.
  2.  Review details and confirm subscription. You may subscribe to more gold during an ongoing event.
  3.  The transaction is completed upon EGU allocation after 48 hours. All allocated EGU will be processed and transferred to your account. Unused cash balance will be refunded in full.

Supply of EGU is limited during each Gold Subscription Event and gold allocation will be determined after the event is closed. All users will receive allocated EGU within 48 hours and can be used to trade immediately. 

In the case of oversubscription, users may not receive full subscription amount and all unused cash balances will be refunded in full.

You will receive a notification whenever a Gold Subscription Event is going on. Each subscription event is conducted on the platform and lasts for 48 hours.
